Securing the Past

Securing the Past is a project funded by Biffa Award as part of a programme in conjunction with HLF, Esmee Fairbairn and a bequest from the estate of the late Roger Jacobi. The project is developing the library at Creswell Crags Museum as a community archive and a hub for archaeological research. Biffa Award funded new furniture, archival storage and new IT equipment to store oral histories and online catalogues. The library was launched on 10th May 2013 and is dedicated to the late Roger Jacobi, whose work contributed so much to our understanding of Creswell Crags. The library is accessible by appointment - please contact Maria Smith at the museum for more information. For more information on Biffa Award please visit http://www.biffa-award.org/
