Together
with site and collections management, education and visitor
services are the most important activities of the Trust.
Educational projects aim to promote the use of archaeology
as a means of delivering a wide range of formal and informal
educational objectives - a nationally important resource
for lifelong learning. Educational resources have been developed
in line with National Curriculum targets and have been tried
and tested by the thousands of school children who visit
Creswell Crags each year. This educational resource is also
used by a wide range of universities, colleges, community
groups, special interest groups and by the general public.
