The team at Creswell Crags run a wide variety of events throughout the year with special activities for children over the school holidays. Typical events include:

bullet point flint knapping demonstrations showing how Ice Age people made the flint stone tools they used to survive with

bullet point 'National Archaeology Week' where there is a chance to visit caves not normally open to the public

bullet point Ice Age crafts where you can build a mammoth and take part in craft activities

bullet point guided walks during 'Ice Age Discovery Days' to places of interest including other valley and cave sites
