Home: Things to do at Creswell Crags: A Walk around the Gorge

Enjoy a pleasant lakeside walk around the picturesque limestone gorge. This easy to follow footpath provides a circular walk through the gorge and takes only 45 minutes at a gentle pace. Information panels in the gorge, access up to the cave entrances and the rich variety of plants and animals provide plenty to see and do. Also a series of bronze plaques throughout the gorge, designed with pictures from the Ice Age, provide an activity trail around the site (a leaflet is available in the gift shop).

To wet your appetite why not try the 'virtual tour' of Creswell Crags and Robin Hood Cave on the 'Virtually the Ice Age' section of this web site.
