Come and see the Bolsover Dragonfly!

The new exhibition dedicated to the Bolsover Dragonflies is now open! The exhibition is free to enter and features one of the most remarkable finds from Bolsover; a fossil dragonfly wing over 300 million years old.

The fossil on display is one of two ancient giant dragonflies discovered in the 1970s at Bolsover Colliery by local miners. The second dragonfly fossil will go on display later this summer.
