Rock Art Tours
This is your chance to see Britain's only known Rock Art, which was discovered by archaeologists in 2003. The tour will take you to Church Hole Cave to view the world famous engravings, carved in to the walls and ceiling of the cave about 13,000 years ago by Britain's first artists.
Tour running times
March - September: Every weekend and daily during Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire school holidays. Rock Art tours will run at weekends March - Oct and daily between these 2017 School Holidays:
Easter Break
May/June Half term
Summer Holidays
The last Rock Art tour of 2017 will be Saturday 30th September 2017.
October - February: We are unable to run Rock Art tours during these months as there is a protected roost of bats within Church Hole.

Essential Tour Information
For your safety please wear flat shoes, boots or trainers. Hard hats and lights will be provided at the beginning of your tour. Due to steps up to the cave and the nature of the cave interiors we would recommend that people who have mobility concerns or who use a walking aid seek advice when booking.
No under 5's permitted on cave tours due to safety reasons.
Photography is permitted on the tours so bring a camera!
