FAQs

I want a party for less than 12 children, will you accommodate this?

The minimum of 12 children is related to the cost of running a party. As long as you are happy to pay for 12 children (i.e. 12 x £9.99 for an Ice Age Adventure party, or 12 x £6.99 for a Mini Mammoths party), you are welcome to bring less than 12 children.

I have more than 5 adults who want to accompany the Ice Age Adventure party cave tour - can I pay extra for them to join?

More than 5 adults are welcome to accompany the cave tour, as long as the total number of adults and children does not exceed 30. Each additional adult shall be charged the regular tour price of £7.50, which can either be paid in person on the day, or added onto your booking cost.

I want an Ice Age Adventure party in the afternoon/Mini Mammoths party in the morning, do you offer this?

The timings of the parties are to allow other parties and events to run alongside them. However, subject to availability, we may be able to accommodate alternative timings on a case-by-case basis please contact us with a specific request.

I have children I want to invite to an Ice Age Adventure party who have mobility issues; will they be able to go in the cave?

The caves are 5-10 minutes walk from the visitor centre, and there are both steps up to and inside the cave. In terms of actually climbing the steps up to and moving around inside the cave, we unfortunately cannot guarantee that anyone with mobility issues will be able to access all areas. However, if you feel that the child/children in question will be capable of accessing the cave, we certainly shall not refuse your booking. Alternatively, we also offer the Mini Mammoths party package which does not include a cave tour, and is held in fully accessible areas. Please contact us directly to discuss any concerns or queries you may have about this.

Do you provide birthday cakes?

Unfortunately we do not provide birthday cakes, but are happy to lend you a lighter to light the candles and a knife to cut any cake that you bring yourself!
