Higher and further education group visits

Creswell Crags is the ideal destination for many educational institutions engaged in a diversity of project based courses such as archaeology, geology, evolution, environmental studies, leisure management and heritage studies. Our staff members are also experienced in designing educational programmes for a variety of National Curriculum areas, such as humanities or literacy.

Visit programmes often include a guided tour of one or more of our caves. Please note that the Rock Art can only be viewed between March and September. However, during the winter months our staff can offer a presentation about the Rock Art as an alternative to the tour. Other activities include survival skills; artefact handling and sorting; and subject-specific talks (e.g. tourism and leisure management).

Any option can be designed especially for your group to ensure you get what you require from your visit.

To discuss the options for your group visit, or to arrange a pre-visit to Creswell Crags, please call us on 01909 720378 or e-mail info@creswell-crags.org.uk.
