Home: Discover the past: Leslie Armstrong and early 20th century techniques

4th July 1936

My dear colleague,

I was appointed as field archaeologist by the Committee for the Archaeological Exploration of Derbyshire Caves in the early 1920's. Since my appointment I have undertaken a number of investigation into several of the caves and rock shelters at Creswell Crags and in neighbouring valleys.
