The
virtual tour uses QuickTimeVR technology to allow you to go on
a tour of Creswell Crags. QuickTimeVR allows you to sit in a spot
in Creswell Crags and see a full 360 degree panorama, you can
zoom in and out and view points of interest close up. In order
for you to see the QuickTimeVR you may need to install the QuickTime
6 software from Apple, you can do this by clicking this link.
Download
times
Due to the amount of information contained within a scene it is
inevitable that there will be a delay while the scene downlaods.
Typically it will take about 3 minutes to download a scene through
a modem.
Viewing
a scene
To
move around a QuickTimeVR scene, hold down the mouse button and
move the cursor around in the direction desired.
Zooming
Hold the mouse over the scene and press the Shift key
to zoom in and the Control key to zoom out.
Hot
spots
Some scenes contain clickable areas of interest that take you
to another scene or to an image of interest. When the mouse passes
