The deepest parts of the cave are something of a mystery. We don't know if anyone has found any animal bones or human tools this far back where there is no natural light. Lets retrace our steps into the east chamber and leave this area to the bats and the spiders.

Occasionally stalagmites will form like this one as calcium carbonate is deposited out of water. Beneath the stalagmite can you see the layer of flowstone forming?
