Visitors to Creswell Crags Museum and Prehistoric Gorge will have the chance to experience the scenic limestone gorge and lake in a spectacular new way this summer, as a new partnership with local business Coloured Cob Equestrian Centre is announced.
From August 12th for 4 weeks, visitors will be able to take a horse-drawn carriage ride through the magnificent gorge, seeing the lake, crags, and woodland in the style the first Victorian sightseers would have been familiar with. Located on the historic and picturesque Welbeck Estate, and a Site of Special Scientific Interest known for its serenity and wildlife, the team behind the partnership say this is one of the most appropriate ways to visit Creswell Crags.
Carriage rides will begin in August, with visitors advised to visit the Creswell Crags website or Facebook page for further information on days of operation and how to book.
Ticket Prices: Adults £12, Children (under 16) £8.
