Call for New Trustees – March 2021

Creswell Crags is home to the only verified Ice Age cave art in the UK. It is a Site of Special Scientific Interest, Scheduled Ancient Monument, has a museum and visitor centre, and is on the shortlist for sites considered for UNESCO World Heritage Site status. It is a well loved visitor attraction and source of local pride, as well as international significance.

Creswell Crags is run by Creswell Heritage Trust, a registered charity. The Trust is looking for five Trustees to take the organisation into its next phase of growth, as we recover from the challenges of the global pandemic, and implement new strategic planning to safeguard resilience and grow our reputation.

Creswell Heritage Trust is looking for individuals who are strategic thinkers, have financial, HR, marketing or legal experience, and who can oversee the successful management of the charity. We are keen to involve people from all backgrounds and perspectives. The positions are voluntary, and board meetings are generally held on site in Creswell, but virtual meetings will also continue post-lockdown and so trustees could be based anywhere.
